Renner Dance Company is our competitive team program — four progressive levels of training across Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acro, and Musical Theatre. Whether your dancer is just stepping into competition or training toward a professional career, there is a level built for where they are right now.

Renner Dance Company exists to help dancers achieve new levels of artistry and performance beyond what's possible in regular class work — training and empowering students to a pre-professional level with a competitive edge, whether they go on to dance in college, on a dance team, or professionally.
Our Company dancers are grouped into four progressive levels based on age, skill, and commitment. Each level offers structured training, performance opportunities, a supportive team atmosphere, and a clear pathway for advancement. Dancers audition into the level that best fits where they are right now — with a path to grow into higher levels in future seasons.
All four Company programs (Excel, Extreme, Edge, and Elite) require an audition. Auditions take place every May for the following dance year. Auditions evaluate dancers across Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary technique, plus improvisation. Interested families should contact us in advance to receive audition details and preparation guidelines.

Full Attendance
Full attendance to all assigned classes and rehearsals. Consistency is foundational to a dancer's growth and to the team's success.
Punctuality & Preparation
Arrive on time, in dress code, and ready to work. Respect for your own time and your teammates' time is non-negotiable.
Positive Conduct
Positive, respectful conduct in and out of the studio. You represent Renner Dance everywhere you go.
Open Communication
Proactive communication about conflicts or absences. We work together as a team -- keeping us informed helps everyone succeed.
Studio Policies
Adherence to studio policies and dress code. Structure and standards exist to set every dancer up for success.
Team-First Mindset
Support your teammates and celebrate their growth as genuinely as your own. A rising tide lifts all boats.
The Levels
Find the Right Fit
Each level is designed for dancers at a specific stage of their journey. Placement is determined by our staff.
The foundational level of Renner Dance Company, introducing young and developing dancers to competitive team training in a supportive environment. Excel dancers build core technique across styles while getting their first taste of team culture, choreography, and the competition experience.
A step up in training intensity and commitment, Extreme dancers deepen their technical foundation across Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, and more, while building performance and competition experience as part of the RDC team.
A mid-level competitive team for dancers ready for a greater challenge. Edge holds dancers to a high standard of attendance, professionalism, and class conduct — including competitions and conventions that may require travel — preparing them for the step up to Elite.
Renner Dance Company's top competitive team, for the studio's most dedicated and advanced dancers. Elite dancers train at a pre-professional level with access to guest master classes, intensives, and a rigorous competition and convention season across Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre.
